Julie Cragg

My name is Julie Cragg, and I am a Borough Councillor for Welwyn East ward. This ward includes Woolmer Green, Digswell, and parts of the Oaklands and Haldens areas. I have lived with my husband Tony in the Borough for over 43 years. We first lived in Digswell, later moving to Haldens. We have since lived in the Oaklands area. 

I was a Welwyn Parish Councillor for 4 years before joining the Borough Council. I served as a School Governor for several years. 

I am passionate about the area and its people, businesses and environment. I know who to approach to solve local issues, and how to get things done. 

I was most recently re-elected to represent my ward in the local elections in May 2021.
