Our local MP Grant Shapps has been appointed as Secretary of State for the Home Department.
Grant said of his appointment:
"It is an enormous honour and responsibility to be appointed Home Secretary. The security of the British people will always remain our first duty."
Grant is a superb choice, and we look forward to seeing him employ his many skills at the Home Office.
