The interest, help and enthusiasm with the ‘Wel Hats’ campaign has been extraordinary. The response has been something else! Here a HQ we've been humbled by your kindness. But people are still welcome to get involved in the campaign, so, to that end, our next ‘Knit and Natter’ session is next Thursday evening from 630pm. Just turn up. Wool, needles, instruction and friendship will be supplied. Along with tea and biccies too of course!
You can be an expert or a novice, it really doesn't matter. It’s all about us coming together behind this great cause. You’ll also get to see ‘Hat Mountain’ where the hundreds of hats are being kept, before we start sending them out after 11th November, Armistice Day.
So, email [email protected] to let us know that you are coming.
The next knitting workshop:
Maynard House, The Common, Hatfield, AL10 ONF (parking available in public car-park behind ASDA) on Thursday 12th September at 630pm.
All abilities and ages welcome.
Yours in hats,
Jonny Ball (Wel Hats Organiser)
