This year’s market is set to be even bigger and better than ever before with more than 50 different stalls offering tremendous bargains and unique Christmas gifts that you can’t find in the shops. The popular tombola stall will be promising great prizes as ever!
The annual event is organised by Welwyn Hatfield Conservatives who donate half the proceeds to Isabel Hospice. It’s a tradition stretching back thirty years to when the hospice first opened. Thanks to the Christmas Market, more than £100,000 has been donated to the charity over the years.
Isabel Hospice is a local charity that provides specialist end-of-life care, free of charge, to the people of eastern Hertfordshire.
Grant said, “Our Christmas Market is always a great day out for the whole family. Not only is it a chance to do a bit of early Christmas shopping. There are always really unusual Christmas gifts to be found at the market. This is an event owned and run by the local Conservatives, but we’re continuing our three decade long tradition of giving half our takings to Isabel Hospice once again this year.”
